Every calendar year, insurance benefits reset, so it’s best to use your remaining benefits before they expire. At Palm Family Dentistry, we work with several dental insurance plans to help with the cost of dental treatment. Dental insurance covers most, if not all, preventive checkups each year and a percentage of restorative therapies too.

Our knowledgeable and helpful team is happy to help you with insurance questions. We can help you determine what your insurance covers so you can make the most of your dental benefits and know precisely what your out-of-pocket costs will be.

Save Cash on Necessary Dentistry

Using remaining dental benefits before January 2023 may help you complete a procedure you need or at least part of a procedure. Dental fillings, crowns, bridges, or implants are the perfect procedures for using your benefits. Depending on the benefits you have left, you may only need to pay a small portion out-of-pocket. If only part of the procedure is covered, you can speak with your dentist about completing the treatment in phases to lower out-of-pocket costs so different stages of treatment are covered.

Preventive Care Is Always a Good Idea

Preventive dentistry is always a good idea, even if you don’t need specific dental work. Preventive dental care helps you avoid issues like tooth decay, gum disease, and other harmful conditions. Standard preventive services include exams, dental x-rays, professional teeth cleanings, and fluoride treatments. All of these services are essential for maintaining the health and vitality of your teeth and gums. Most dental insurance plans cover these and other preventive treatments, like fillings. Plus, consistently caring for your smile helps lower the risk of future oral health issues and, in turn, the future cost of treatments.
