Dental Hygienist

With an impressive 37 years in the dental field, Lauren brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team at Palm Family Dentistry. For the past few years, she has been an integral part of our practice, working daily to ensure our patients receive exceptional care.

Lauren graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry. As a Dental Hygienist, her primary responsibilities include treating new and existing patients, taking radiographs (X-rays), and performing thorough prophylaxis (cleanings).

What Lauren loves most about her role is her ability to make a genuine difference in a patient’s outlook on their oral health. She was drawn to the dental field because she wanted to work closely with people, a passion that still defines her approach today. Lauren finds working with patients particularly rewarding, often saying they are "always so interesting," and that she "learns something new every day." This same enjoyment extends to her colleagues; she values the daily camaraderie and the excellent, cohesive teamwork at Palm Family Dentistry.

When she's not helping patients achieve a healthier smile, Lauren enjoys staying active with Barre3 workouts. A fun fact many people don't know about her is that she took dance lessons for 15 years and was a member of her high school's dance team!
